The AR-focused company will present its platform on August 15, 2023.
A group of companies focused on developing augmented reality (AR) technologies, OnPoint, will present its AR platform at the 8th Annual Needham Virtual Medtech and Diagnostics Conference on August 15, 2023.
OnPoint works to develop AR solutions to assist with multiple spine, neurosurgical, and orthopedic procedures. The AR technology can overlay surgical guides and other information within the surgeon’s field of vision. This is accomplished using a headset worn during the procedures.
In a press release, OnPoint’s CEO and chairman Philipp Lang said, “OnPoint offers an attractive financial profile using its rapidly accretive, extremely accurate and cost effective technology. It is a modular platform technology programmed for brisk expansion, since it enables AR guidance for both free-hand and robotic procedures. Our platform technology is at the nexus of free-hand and robotic surgery and it is backed by an equally impressive IP portfolio of granted U.S. and international patents.”
Lang will present the new platform along with OnPoint’s CFO Grace Connelly and Chris Tagatac, VP of corporate development at OnPoint.
